I enjoyed every minute of it and it is very romantic. Bring us more of Annabell and games like this. I refuse to buy the dark dreary games. We want more adventure games. I just finished playing the game on my Windows 10 PC without any glitch of any kind.

Other reviewers have well described the gameplay; let me just say that the story is broken down into a half-dozen scenes each made up of a few "rooms". I will play this adventure again in a couple years: the truly terrible voice "acting" of the main character is offset by the brilliant voice acting of the drunken ship's captain. Play the demo for minutes and you'll get a good sense of whether or not you'll enjoy the game: it is representative of how you'll be spending the hours this game offers.

However, the scenes themselves and moving between them are much more immersive, like a modern FPS, and each task requires you to move between multiple scenes, so it doesn't feel like you're staring at a painting all day. Most of the voice acting is even more stiff and emotionless than the animation, so that it sounds like the actors are just reading the script out loud instead of performing the character voices.

The one playing "Thoth" was better acted than the rest, and a bit amusing. The writers should have done better research, though since in Egyptian mythology, Thoth was supposed to be tall, slender, birdlike and male, while this character was more like Taweret, being short, chubby, busty and female.

Overall, the game was kind of short, but fun to play. Hopefully this new style will keep improving in the future. Rated 5 out of 5 by pcpat from Total Ancient Egyptian Magic!

Anything ancient Egypt is super interesting to me especially to have the historical and artistic backdrop brought by JetDogs Studios was an unexpected treat. One of my favorite all-time developers presented this adventure style game with hidden object and other challenging puzzles a couple years ago and I just didn't find the time to play.
