Storyline Edit. Many years ago, sorcerers crafted the Mask of Acheron and dark forces of Acheron conquered the world.

However, the barbarians vanquished Acheron warriors and broke the Mask into pieces and divided among the tribes. The barbarian Cimmerian village of chief Corin is attacked by the evil warlord Khalar Zym that wants the last piece of bone of the Mask of Acheron to resurrect his wife. When his witch daughter Marique finds the hidden piece, he slaughters the villagers and the Corin's son Conan is the only survivor. Conan swears revenge against Khalar Zym.

Years later, the warrior Conan is a pirate and he decides to release slaves from a field. When he is celebrating in a tavern with his friends, he sees a thief being chased by a guard and Conan recognizes him as Lucius, the Khalar Zym's soldier that he cut the nose out.

Conan let the guards capture him and once in the prison, he forces Lucius to tell him where Khalar Zym is. Meanwhile Khalar Zym attacks a monastery where Marique believes that a pure-blood descent of Acheron lives. But the monk sent the descent Tamara back to her homeland. She is chased by Khalar Zym's soldiers, but Conan saves her.

Now Conan intends to use Tamara to reach the evil Khalar Zym. Will he succeed in his intent? Enter An Age Undreamed Of. Rated R for strong bloody violence, some sexuality and nudity. Did you know Edit. Trivia Jason Momoa is by his own admission afraid of horses, so all his horse riding scenes had to either be faked or filmed with doubles. Goofs at around 58 mins Shortly after Conan kidnaps Tamara, he puts her on the back of his horse with her hands tied behind her back.

Riding like this would be impractical to the point of impossible. Assuming she didn't immediately fall off and break her neck, she'd be in unbearable agony within minutes of bouncing around in that position. User reviews Review.

Top review. Conan remake that should never have been. Conan the Barbarian is born in war, a product of blood and steel. Thus the film should be a visceral, violent portrayal of a warrior set against the fantasy backdrop of Robert E. Howard's Hyboria. What emerges on screen is a set of one dimensional characters placed in a world that feels half heatedly brought to life.

The film has been accused of being like viewing a video game. I would disagree. The nature of video games, particularly those of the fantasy and RPG genres, is immersion. There is no immersion here. We flit from place to place in a lame attempt to show the vastness of the world through a mediocre CGI backdrop of a castle or slave camp or pirate city. None are ever fully realised before Conan jaunts off somewhere else.

The violence itself is the most disappointing. Nispel manages to create fight scenes that lack the kinetic quality of a dance. The camera is misplaced, the editing focusing on the wrong points. You never feel the hits, the power of the blows or Conan's qualities as a warrior.

I think these ways of fun are overrated some say that theirs new ways even different ways of having fun while drinking that consider of games that will open your mind to new things.

Great ideas to boost your enjoyment while having a drink with friends, thanks for this useful info. I've played quite a few of these All are pretty fun, definitely worth playing, but I don't drink nearly as much as I used to. Having kids kinda changes the routine and priorities.

Good morning Tealparadise Absolutely loved this hub, what fun, entertaining ways to bring to a adult party. Excellent party fun and so many terrific ideas for making any adult party more interesting and successful. So nice meeting you. Look forward to reading many more of your hubs. It looks like I did concentrate on computers too much during my younger years haha!

Those are interested ways to share a drink with a friend and still have some fun at the same time. Thanks for the sharing. I like the sound of the "Im going on a picnic" gane and the "Two truths and a lie". The latter wud be soooo great for getting to know someone, its true! Hey cool idea for a hub. I can't wait to try a few of these. I can only assume you've personally mastered them all. Thanks for a great hub and keep up the good work!

Tips for battle shots - pizza boxes are made for this game. And if you get a large pizza you can add more squares. The staff at Hubpages wanted to give this an Editor's Choice but they got too drunk by the time they finished reading this and played the games you explained. Great hub, looking forward to trying this on saturday night. This is a really nerdy one, that I discovered while watching Conan the Barbarian DVD with the commentary turned on with the director and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Basically, any time Arnold says the words, "right", "exactly", or a combination of the two, you need to take a drink. He says them so much in the commentary it's ridiculous.

On top of that it's hilarious because he remembers very little about the movie, while the director remembers all kinds of stuff. Although I don't drink alcohol, this sounds like fun for parties in any settings. Great hub! Highly recommend this one good call man. This makes it very much more interesting rather than drinking a mix while watching tv. Great hub. I think I learned a thing or two about drinking games.

But most of all I van see a better way reorganize my hubs. These games sound like a lot of fun, and drinking isn't even necessary although it can add to the excitement. I especially like "Two Truths and a Lie" because some people have one thing or another in their past that is unbelievable, such as knowing a famous person that no one would have expected. That can make this particular game very interesting. I've heard a few of these games and even played a couple, but many are very vague.

They do seem like a lot of fun if you're into that sort of thing as long as no one goes overboard with them. Very interesting hub and could be useful as well in the future. Sounds like fun. I played never Ever with a large group as an icebreaker. No drinking tho. It got down to me and one other. She won. These are awesome. I am going to have to try battle shots.

Also look up horse race. It is a drinking game that you make bets and pick a suit. You"race" the suits, then the loser drinks the other persons bet. Great games! Although where I'm from in the UK, Power Hour is called Centurion and it's beer shots in minutes rather than 60 shots in 60 minutes :D.

Dealer flips card and other person guesses red or black. If guessed correctly no drink taken and go again. Incorrectly you must drink and turn moves on. If you guess three correctly in a row you can make a rule. Ie: can't say drink, drank, or drunk or can't say names or thumb rule meaning when rule maker puts their thumb down in plain sight, last one to follow drinks. Other rules are self explanatory.

If broken, rule breaker must drink. Once desk is completely gone through, reshuffle and start over. Each player arranges six solo cups in any order on their end of the table surrounding their one shot glass in the center; solo cups filled with beer and liquor in the shot glass. The players each take a turn trying to take out the cups protecting the shot glass till all cups are depleted. Once all solo cups are depleted the shot glass can be targeted. If a player makes the shot glass before the cups are gone, that player losses the game.

In addition while a player is attempting to make a cup the defending player is allowed to throw or bounce there ping pong ball at the attacking players ball, to knock it out of the way; but the defending player must call the defensive shot by calling ball.
